Traditional Greek Gaff Cutter – Trechandiri Eleni
Description
A Floating Cultural Vessel for Filming & Intimate Gatherings
Eleni is a beautifully crafted traditional Greek trechandiri, rigged as a gaff cutter and built in Denmark. Since 2000, she has voyaged across northern and southern European waters before anchoring in Greece—her natural home—where she now serves as a professional artist’s floating studio.
Available as a unique location for film and photo shoots, creative projects, or small-scale private gatherings. Her timeless character and authentic materials make her ideal for atmospheric visuals and intimate, story-rich scenes.
* Max guests onboard: 15 (for filming), 8 (for dinners/events)
* Sleeps: 4 (interior cabins)
* Docked setting. Movement possible by arrangement.
* Ideal for: cinematic shoots, artistic collaborations, poetry dinners, family moments, slow gatherings
As part of a wider art residency project (Eleni Art Residency), the vessel continues to host musicians, writers, and researchers exploring life at sea, improvisation, and maritime culture.
