What determines the cost of location service?
- The size and scope of the project
- Travel requirements
Scouting rates vary by the project, like if the scout/project are union or non-union, the kind of project it is, the time parameters involved, and the scout’s availability. Scouts are paid fairly for their time and expertise, and working with a good scout will save you time and money further down the road.
All of that said, expect rates ranging from 250€-1,000€/day plus mileage/vehicle reimbursement, and out-of-pocket expenses (such as parking fees, tolls, a reasonable meal). The median rate is about 500€-600€/day.
