The Tower of Athens is one of the most modern but also more historic buildings of the Greek capital. Its construction began in 1967, after a large study of corresponding works abroad and based on the international standards of various metropoles of the world. Having height of 103 meters it is the first skyscraper and the tallest building in Greece.
